How to book Absent Friends
Absent Friends is Alan Ayckbourn’s classic comedy of manners and social embarrassment and it is heading to London’s Harold Pinter Theatre (formerly The Comedy Theatre).
Absent Friends follows the story of Colin, who sadly loses his fiancé, in an attempt to try to cheer him up his friends rally round and arrange a tea party inviting all his old acquaintances. But as the group meet up it soon becomes clear that trouble is on the horizon, as tensions start to boil and jealousy, infidelity and barely concealed loathing come to the forefront of everyone’s attention.
The cast of Absent friends is led by well known comic performers including Katherine Parkinson (IT Crowd), Reece Shearsmith (League of Gentlemen) and Steffan Rhodri (Gavin and Stacy). They are joined by sketch performer David Armand and Eastender and winner of Strictly come Dancing Kara Tointon.
Please Note: Cast members cannot be guaranteed for every performance.
Absent Friends Theatre Breaks always includes tickets with hotel accommodation, and the number of tickets you request must be the same as the number of hotel guests.
