How to book Being Shakespeare
Following a successful run at the Edinburgh Festival and a triumphant National Tour the one-man play Being Shakespeare will play a limited run at the Trafalgar Studios from the 8th – 31st March before it heads to America.
Starring Simon Callow Being Shakespeare is a celebration of the world's most renowned playwright. Written by Shakespeare scholar Jonathan Bate Being Shakespeare offers a unique insight into the life of William Shakespeare and the characters he created. Blending the famed plays with a history of the legendary playwright Being Shakespeare is a must for lovers of Shakespeare and theatre.
Being Shakespeare is directed by Tom Cairns who has previously worked on plays at the Old Vic and the National Theatre. Simon Callow is no stranger to Shakespearean roles having appeared in the Canadian Stratford Shakespeare Festival, the National Theatre's critically acclaimed sold-out production of Twelfth Night and having contributed to the Cambridge's Actors on Shakespeare series.
Being Shakespeare will play at Trafalgar Studios 1, an intimate venue that seats less than 400 people.
Being Shakespeare Theatre Breaks always includes tickets with hotel accommodation, and the number of tickets you request must be the same as the number of hotel guests.
