Evita, one of the worlds greatest musicals, returns to Londons West End after 21 years. Directed by the award winning Michael Grandage and featuring lyrics by Tim Rice and music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, Evita tells the story of the iconic Eva Peron, the second wife of Argentine dictator Juan Peron. It chronicles her life as Argentinas most complex and powerful figure, against a backdrop of political unrest, until her tragic death of cancer in 1952.
Evita features many classic songs including Dont Cry for Me Argentina and Another Suitcase in Another Hall. This new production will also feature the Oscar winning You Must Love Me for the first time ever on stage. Written especially for Alan Parkers 1996 film adaptation starring Madonna and Antonio Banderas, it became a Top Ten single immediately on release that year.
The most popular hotels in the west end are all available for selection and once you have chosen the Evita theatre tickets and date you would like to go, you will be presented with a list of London hotels to choose from.
Accomodation for the Evita theatre break ranges from great value 3 star hotels through to a luxury 5 star hotel break.
