Since opening in London over 2 years ago, the cult hit show Avenue Q has been playing to hugely enthusiastic crowds and standing ovations, proving highly addictive with its legion of fans coming back to see it over and over!
The show is set in a mythical NYC block occupied by an endearing, oddball collection of people; kooky Christmas Eve and hapless hubby Brian and puppets: sloppy Nicky, closeted Rod, lost soul Princeton, lovelorn Kate, porn-happy Trekkie Monster, and bimbo-licious Lucy The Slut!
They swear like sailors, engage in kinky puppet coitus, and even impart valuable and/or absurd life lessons.
These folks wouldn't be at home on Sesame Street -- heck, they wouldn't even be welcome on Sesame Street.
To call it a puppet show does it a disservice, Sesame Street for grown-ups isn't right either. There's no handy way to describe Avenue Q except as the furriest, and one of the funniest, shows you're likely ever to see.
Avenue Q contains scenes which may be unsuitable for children under 12. Children under 5 are not admitted.
However, it is safe to say that if you are an adult with a good sense of humour, then Avenue Q is right up your street!
Venue Directions: Take the Piccadilly or Northern line to Leicester Square station. The theatre is a 2 minute walk.

Salvador and Amanda
8 Great Newport Street, London, WC2H 7JA
Salvador & Amanda draws on the influences of what the Spanish call 'the real Spain', principally cities such as Madrid, Bilbao, Logrono and San Sebastian. Its philosophy is based on the golden triumvirate of Bar y Tapas y Fiesta. With a late license, capacity of 270, and its ideal placement on the boundary of Covent Garden and Soho, it lends itself perfectly to both hedonistic parties and meetings.
What the press say about Avenue Q
"Brash, vulgar, sometimes downright obscene,
I loved every minute of it" - Sunday Times
"An outrageously funny musical for the iPod generation. Cross Sesame Street with the Muppet Show give it an X rating and slap on a Government Health Warning that too much laughter can make your sides ache and you've got Avenue Q,
A MUST SEE " - Radio 2
The most popular shows are all available for selection and once you have chosen the Avenue Q theatre tickets and date you would like to go, wait for your tickets to come through and enjoy a fantastic night in London.
