How to book Phantom of the Opera - Manchester

Following the incredibly successful 25th Anniversary Production, the Phantom of the Opera is heading on a national tour, calling at several major cities throughout the UK. The Phantom of the Opera is one of the most loved musicals of all time and the 2012 tour features a new design, staging and costumes. Cameron Mackintosh's production of The Phantom of the Opera, Manchester injects a new lease of life into the much loved Andrew Lloyd Webber story.

At the heart of the Paris Opera a backdrop mysteriously collapses scaring the lead soprano who refuses to perform, chorus girl Christine Daaé takes to the stage as her replacement and is a great success. Back in her dressing room Christine entertains her old childhood friend Raoul and confides to him that it is the ‘Angel of Music’ who has taught her. The jealous Phantom appears to Christine and takes her to his underground realm.

Ruled by emotion the Phantom insists that Christine takes the lead role in the opera every night and does all in his power to make it a certainty no matter what the damage. The Phantom of the Opera Manchester is a powerful story of love, obsession and betrayal in 18th Century Paris.
