Sister Act, Liverpool is the fast paced, hilarious stage adaptation of the incredible 1992 film. Following an incredibly successful run in the West End Sister Act is heading on a UK tour and is heading to the Empire Theatre, Liverpool, in May 2012 for a strictly limited run.

Sister Act, Liverpool follows the story of lounge singer Deloris Van Cartier who is the witness to a murder. Deloris immediately runs to tell the police who become fearful for her life and place Deloris in protective custody. To protect Deloris the police hide her somewhere that no one will look for her, a convent. She is renamed as Sister Mary Clarence and is quickly thrown into life at the convent, among the nuns. Deloris soon finds herself at heads with the strict Mother Superior as she struggles with her new regime. She discovers the convent is far from the life she knew, forbidden from smoking, drinking or going out Deloris turns to her love of music and joins the convents disastrous choir and soon transforms it from a traditional chorus to a sensational musical group.

But the remarkable success of the choir brings unwanted attention into the church and Deloris cover is quickly blown to the remaining gang members.

Sister Act, Liverpool is brimming with superb songs, comedic performances and is a feel good show for all the family. Since its opening the sensational show has been seen by over a million people in the West End and has been Co-produced by the sensational Whoopi Goldberg.
