Hit reggae musical based on the 1972 Jimmy Cliff film.Ivan is a country boy who dreams of becoming a reggae star. When the harsh reality of the music scene drives him into a fast and furious life as an outlaw, he would rather die than kill his dream. This production was first staged at the Theatre Royal Stratford East in 2005, where it enjoyed two sell-out seasons, repeating this success at the Barbican in spring 2008.
