Based on the award winning Ealing Studios film of the same name, The Ladykillers London makes a move to the stage with Graham Linehan’s superb adaptation of this highly entertaining dark comedy.

In peaceful England Widow Mrs. Louisa Wilberforce keeps a close eye on all that goes on, reporting to the police any mishap or suspicions she may have. When Professor Marcus approaches her to rent a room in her house, little does he know what’s in store. Planning on robbing a security van Proffesor Marcus and his crew pose as a string quartet in order to rent some rooms from the widow for their base. Set on using the Widow as a cover, they are soon in over their heads as Mrs Wilberforce learns of their intentions and sets about stopping them.

The Ladykillers London features a superb cast including the multi-Olivier Award-winner Marcia Warren as Mrs Wilberforce, award winning Peter Capaldi as Professor Marcus and featuring comedy gold from James Fleet, Ben Miller, Clive Rowe and Stephen Wight as the eccentric criminal gang.

The Ladykillers London is adapted for the stage by Graham Linehan, the man behind comic TV hits Father Ted and The IT Crowd and directed by Sean Foley, who previously directed The Play What I Wrote.
