    Mel Brooks’ The Producers is a hilarious stage musical version of Brooks’ classic film of the same name. The story revolves around washed up theatre producer Max Bialystock who, along with his timid accountant Leo Bloom, cooks up a scheme to make a fortune by presenting a sure fire flop called Springtime for Hitler. Their plan is to take off with all their investors money, but when the curtain goes up on their gigantic singing and dancing spectacular, they realise their plan has not gone entirely to plan....
