Join the runner up of TV’s Over The Rainbow, Sophie Evans, as she takes on the role of Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz musical. Joining Sophie as the Wizard is Russell Grant who will take over the role for a limited 12 week season.

The Wizard of Oz musical follows the journey of Dorothy and her dog Toto as she is transported from her Kansas home to the magical land of Oz. With the help of Scarecrow, Tin Man and Lion she must find her way home as they travel through Oz to make their way to meet the Wizard to obtain their hearts desires. But they face a constant battle with the Wicked Witch of The West and her winged monkeys who will stop at nothing to prevent them from reaching the wizard and getting her hands on the ruby slippers.

L.Frank Baum’s story of Dorothy in Oz has been brought to life on the London Palladium stage in a new production from Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber. The show features classic songs from the film such as Somewhere Over The Rainbow, If I Only Had A Brain and We’re Off To See The Wizard.
